Occupy Wall Street medic PAUL KOSTORA, on being forced to leave Zuccotti Park by the NYPD.
The police don’t care about you and your God-damned healthcare.
OK I’m going to reblog this again when there’s more people on, but I want to make this very clear:
AN ATTACK ON A CLEARLY MARKED MEDICAL FACILITY/SPACE IS A VIOLATION OF THE GENEVA CONVENTION.
NYPD HAS COMMITTED CLEARLY DEFINED WAR CRIMES AGAINST US CITIZENS.
They’re not going to see it as being a violation of the Geneva convention, though, and if they do, they’ll never own up to it. They’ll pull some flimsy excuse out of their ass such as “illegal assembly”/public disruption not being the same as a warzone in a clearly-designated conflict or act of war. And then they’ll somehow turn it around, as if getting ill or trying to help a fellow human being while exercising your right to assembly and freedom of speech is the fault of the protester.
This makes me sick.
- Me: Robb! You have to make eye contact before you do something like that, someone could have gotten hurt!
- Robb: Oh, no, that was real, you were supposed to get hurt.
I have hiccups.
I got used to hiccupping just once, being confused, then moving on with my life, but I right now have a LEGITIMATE AND VIRULENT CASE of hiccups and I do not know what to do with myself.
