The earliest I know of is just above my right eyebrow. I was hugging my sister’s dog when I was about four years old, and I wouldn’t let go. Dog understandably got pissed off, whipped his head around, and rammed me in the forehead with his teeth. Had to get about a million stitches and I’m not sure I had any anesthetic - I remember they laid a blue cloth over my eyes so I wouldn’t see what was happening and freak out, but I kept knocking it off, and the feeling of getting prickled over and over. Had a bump the size of a golf ball covered in what I remember as duct tape. Now it’s just a little pinched line, nothing major.
There’s a now-nearly-invisible brown smudge near my left elbow from a bad marley burn in stage combat class.
I have a couple of tiny ones on and about my stomach from when I had my appendix out.
Then there’s a little scar just below my right knee where I scraped it on a rock swimming in a creek in Virginia with a bunch of friends.
I also have one right at the base of my left pinkie nail and I got it at about 8am on March 23rd, 1999. I know this because it was the day of my 3rd grade class play, and we had a little song about it at the end of the year. I slammed my finger in the door in my excitement to get to school for the show, and I swear I could not keep a bandaid on it for more than an hour. It just. Kept. Bleeding. Like ALL day. It’s just a little white smudge now, but I remember the event so clearly, and I cried like a MANIAC. Slammed my damn pinkie in the door, man…
