-You could make ATLA or Lok themed food, like:
-Or maybe some cupcakes with any of the character’s faces on them.
-You could give people elements/nonbending abilities. The person who is having the birthday could be the avatar, and for the other people, write bending or nonbending abilities on slips of paper and have them draw it out of a bag without looking. The slip of paper determines what they’ll be and you could give them a cute little goodie bag that matches their choice. For example, if they picked “Airbender,” you could give them little Aang stickers and a bubble blowing wand.
-Decorate balloons with arrows to make them look like Aang.
-As far as games go:
-Pin the Honor on the Zuko.
-Avatar/Lok Trivia Game
-A mock form of probending, played safely of course! A frisbee could be used for earth, a water gun for water, and a rhythmic ribbon for fire.
-Freeze tag, but the person who is it is Amon….(I don’t really know how fun that would be, though…) And there could be one person as the Avatar who could unfreeze people. You could also use that printable version of Amon’s mask for the person who is it…

JUST came across this idea today. Didn’t even think of it while I was watching; I was too emotionally wound up to think things through.
Looking back on it…girl was DEFINITELY about to kill herself.
The bad guy went down in a murder/suicide boat explosion and the heroine very nearly threw herself off a cliff…

this was the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen. In either series. Beautiful. Absolutely stunning.
All these people that helped that goofy kid along the way, that made him a great avatar — he grew up and he earned the right to join their ranks in aiding the next avatar. And here he is. to bring her back something she’s lost. To give her back the right to be the Avatar.
And she’ll be one of them too someday, to help out the next Avatar, and I just… god i need a minute

I just need to say that I am absurdly excited and proud to have seen the Korra finale when it aired. I made horrible gurgling screaming noises at the tv at least five times, and once I shouted so loudly and suddenly that I actually scared my mom.
Without spoiling anything, I have NEVER experienced such high stakes in any tv show, nor have I ever been so nervous, scared, excited, horrified, surprised…
It was rough to watch but GOD it was amazing.
And Bryke - I was about to be REAL disappointed with the ending, but you’re evil geniuses and made it awesome. I love you forever.
Amon taking away Korra’s bending somehow results in a trip to the spirit world, where she’s consulted by Kuruk.
Then Aang comes out of no where with the lion turtle to teach her how to air bend, energy bend and gives her back her bending
Once she’s back in the real world, she finds Lin and Tahno and gives them their bending back because they wanna take the equalists dooooowwwwwwn. also tahno has a really stupid looking haircut
BOLIN GETS MORE LINES AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND LEARNS HOW TO PLATINUM BEND AND IS A TOTAL BAMF
And Mako needs a flashback of his childhood with Bolin, when they scoured Republic City’s docks looking for dumplings and adventure

But we have to wait to see who it is cuz WOOPS, General Iroh has arrived and he gets to show off his rock hard abs in a fight scene
Did I say rock hard? I meant real, actual, literal rocks
It turns out Amon is a cute spirit owl who wanted to take away bending cuz it’s a spiritual act and they’re fighting with it and causing bloodshed and he just wants wurl piece
And then Iroh whips out his Tsungi horn and plays this awesome disco/jazz piece and everyone joins in on a dance scene so stupid and awkward stupid that Dreamworks called and congratulated them
Yes, this is a perfect solution

–Ha ha, some people just see what they want to see, I guess. Korra is not wearing Mako’s scarf, nor his jacket. Look more closely at her costume, and Mako’s.
–The finale on June 23 is the Book 1 finale (episodes 111 & 112). But first, episode 110 airs this Saturday, June 16! Get the collective body ready.
–We just finished up the mix of episode 112 this evening. Just a few finishing touches left to do on the picture, then that’s a wrap on Book 1. WOO HOO! These 12 episodes took two really tough years to make. I really wish that meant we had a break now, but sigh… (See below). Thanks and congratulations to all the awesome, hardworking people on the Korra crew!
–Book 2 is happening, and is 14 episodes long. No, I don’t know when it comes out. REALLY, I DON’T. But no, it won’t be another two years from now, as we are already in production on it (that’s the brutal thing about TV, the schedule overlap). So all I can say, and it is the honest truth, is that we’re working really hard on it!
–I’m hungry.
